Specialists from the University of Silesia and the MedSilesia cluster showcased practical applications of AI in the senior-care sector.
During a webinar on 16 April 2026, representatives of the medical sector presented concrete AI tools for care facilities. Rather than a purely technological angle, they focused on real-world challenges: an ageing population, overstretched staff and paper-based documentation.
AI automates documentation, supports medication management and monitors changes in residents' health — freeing staff from administrative work so they can spend more time with the people in their care.
The solution is already production-ready in Polish conditions, with the first facilities currently rolling it out.
